A Message of Understanding and Friendship from the Miseducated

To my ever understanding and patient students,

Before I explain my absence today, May 21, 2008, I would like to extend my overwhelming appreciation of your infinite ability to love and forgive. I have been blessed by fate for it has given me the opportunity to teach such wonderful, kind and intelligent students.

With that said, I am ashamed to say that unfortunately your grades will not be available today. The reason behind this horrendous fact is that I have just discovered two sets of art activities which I have appallingly failed to record. Yes, I know that I have failed you miserably, my students. Knowing that your teacher is not perfect is definitely a sorrowful time in one’s life but we must be strong and move towards a new beginning.
Therefore, I would like to reschedule our cancelled meeting for the giving of grades and returning of projects this Friday, the same time and venue. Of course, your ever considerate and almost perfect teacher is open to suggestions.

Sincerely,

Miseducated Mentor
